Update: Wanted to mention that based on the latest comments, it seems to be an issue with M1 Macs and the Lastpass desktop App. I'd make suggestions on what to switch to but I don't want to seem like a shill or some commercial. Just google some alternatives and how to migrate. I hope that people who are struggling with lastpass realize that there are alternatives that work reliably. I can't believe how long I let myself struggle with this. It's not hard, in fact I used more time trying to troubleshoot lastpass than it took me to sign up for a different service, export all my login info, and import it to new site.įeel like a huge burden lifted and I finally have a password manager that can actually fill in the passwords. I was always reluctant to switch because I thought it would be hard. After constant updates and price hikes it's just getting worse.
The app was never perfect but with some struggle it was usable. Now the only way I can log into sites with PW stored in lastpass is by copying any pasting. Look up how to fully reinstall Lastpass, all links lead to dead page. Nothing, tried deleting some addition files in the user "library/app support folder" no improvement. The plugin just showed a blank white box when I click on the plugin.įew days ago the app updated, and today the plugin is always a white box no matter what I do. Last week I had to keep restarting my browser and lastpass app to get lastpass to work. One is just blank page and just titled as "-" the other is the login. Then the price kept going up but the software kept getting worse.įor the past month or so I noticed Lastpass launching two pages when I open the Mac app. First I was a little annoyed by the price hikes but I could kind of understand, it was a good service. Been using Lastpass since 2012, it was initially great.
